We have unrivaled experience and expertise in looking after many different kinds of equine athlete, this makes us your best choice in dealing with the various stresses and strains that may be experienced by your animal or to provide you with quality advice when considering purchasing a new horse.

We are privileged to provide veterinary services for many of the top eventing, dressage and showjumping riders in the country in addition to sponsoring a number of riders. Since 2012 we have provided veterinary support for the ESNZ Eventing Young rider and Talent development squads as well as acting as team veterinarian for the Senior and Junior trans-Tasman competitions in New Zealand and Australia. Recently we have extended that support to the ESNZ Jumps Training program and squads. Additionally we have a treating veterinarian at many of the main events around the country in the equestrian sporting calendar.

Whether it’s eventing, endurance, polo, hunting, driving, hacking or pleasure riding (to name just a few), we adopt a holistic, intensive and scientific approach to maintaining optimal performance for each discipline. With the opening of our new facility (Waikato Equine Veterinary Centre, Cambridge) we have an arena to enable a horse to be observed and assessed under saddle as well as on varying lunging surfaces. Additionally we have an equine veterinarian with international qualifications in Acupuncture, Chiropractic and food therapy, herbal therapy, tui -na (Chinese massage and myofascial technique), and Pulse Electro-Magnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) to enable an integrated approach to maximising your horses performance and wellness.

While providing the most advanced methods for investigation of lameness, or poor performance issues, we emphasize the importance of getting the basics right - nutrition, dentistry and farriery, for example. We provide you sophisticated advice and treatment to achieve the ultimate health, well being and performance from your animal.
