Waikato Equine Veterinary Centre welcomes both veterinary and nursing students to gain practical experience alongside our veterinary team. During your placement, you will have exposure to a diverse range of cases, including both ambulatory and hospital work.
Please note that placements are limited to a maximum of two weeks. To make the most of your learning experience, we recommend visiting during our busy season, from September through March.
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing equine veterinary practice and/or have prior equine experience. It is also preferable that a CV is submitted with your application.
